Dr. Poornima Luthra

Poornima Luthra is an award-winning educator both at the Masters and Undergraduate level in the field of human resource management, specialising in teaching courses in international HR, generational diversity in workplaces, leadership and teams. She has over 10 years of teaching experience and is currently attached to the Department of Organisation at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS). She is a member of the Diversity and Difference Platform at CBS with the goal of putting age on the table of diversity discussions. Prior to her move to Denmark, Poornima was a faculty member at the Singapore Management University and has written a number of cases with large MNCs including Citibank, Glaxo-Smith Kline and Tata Consulting Services on their journey through managing generational diversity in their cross-cultural workplaces.

Corporate organisations and international educational institutions who are seeking better leverage a diverse and globally dispersed workforce through the development of cross-cultural competencies would benefit from Poornima’s expertise. Poornima is deeply passionate about these areas of interest, and shares that through talks and workshops in the areas of cross-cultural competency and global mindset development, as well as generational diversity management within cross-cultural environments. She combines her academic experience with her own personal journey of having lived in Copenhagen, Singapore, India, and Canada, and raising two third-culture children.
